Wearable Art
Recently Elaine has been expanding her work into areas of
wearable art. Each is a unique creation, designed and hand-made by Elaine to
surround you with power, romance and/or vibrance. Her creations include Dragon
Jackets (such as that presented on the home page), and her Cape of
Legends.
Soft Sculpture and Fabric Art
For many of us (at least the Curious Characters Webmaster),
visualizing thing in 3 dimensions is a challenge, and creating them in any media, much
less fabric with foam and stuffing, inconceivable. However, these skills, combined
with a vivid imagination, is what makes Curious Characters possible. Mass produced
"stuffed animals", including "Beanie Babies" all reflect high volume,
"cookie cutter" production that serves for volume retail, and consistent
results. Curious Characters are unique designs of Elaine Isaak, and hand-made as
well. (The Ego-Boosters use a casting service for production, but based on Elaine's
hand-crafted models, and yes, Elaine has a sewing machine or two.) Today you can get
this unique fabric art that reflects Elaine's "Formative period". This is
art you can enjoy, that inspires the imagination, and tends to give you a warm-fuzzy
feeling, because it's warm an fuzzy.

- Greelings are lovable stuffed soft sculpture, suitable
company for persons from age 3 and up. They don't really eat anything, and generally don't
taste good either (but we know some of the Greeling care takers will have to test this
out, so they are designed for children.) Doryts are the lovable companions of Greelings,
and as they say in Sheldrick forest, "a Greeling without a Doryt is like a tree
without moss". We're not sure what it means either, but no doubt it's important.
Hyffers favorite phrase may seem to be "Hurrumpff", or "I told you
no good would come of this", but actually they are as soft as marshmallows (just
squeeze one and see.)

buy a dozen just to set around your desk and remind you that your special too! ... All of
