Custom Character Creation

Perhaps you always wanted one of your childhood dreams (or adulthood dreams) to be materialized.   That is literally the business of Curious Characters.  We can provide this as a singular creation to match your whimsy or a soft sculpture representation to complement your writing.

Examples include

Laughlie the Hyena who lost her laugh - to complement the book
The Offspring - the American Sphinx - to manifest a poem
Winged Monkey from Oz - full size (5' for those who haven't measured one)
Bathroom Bear
Thar be Dragons Here!
Tiger Rug
Costumes and "Logo Characters"

We have years of experience developing three dimensional characters in cloth. These can vary from representations of the real world, to flights of fantasy. While some materials and stuffing's work better than others, there are a wide variety to chose from. Perhaps your dragon should have lace wings, or you'd prefer a paisley whale.

To have a custom project considered by Curious Characters, send a sketch or description, and we will return an estimate of total cost and approximate delivery date. If you are ordering for a holiday or other special event, keep in mind that these items are hand-crafted, and allow six weeks for the project. After you receive the estimate, we will need a deposit of 50% to purchase supplies, etc., before beginning the work. The balance would be due on completion. If you want that something different, but have a strict budget, let us know, and we will make every effort to provide a character in your price range.

Some of our custom designs are the basis for new products.   Others are done on an exclusive basis, providing a Mascot, or Logo-Character that may be ideal for your business.
